About
Tahoe Hitch Cover
Tahoe Hitch Cover began with a simple idea.
After years of living in Lake Tahoe, I wanted a hitch cover that reflected my connection to the place I call home. To my surprise, nothing like it existed. So I partnered with a good friend and mechanical engineer to create one myself.
What started as a single design for my own vehicle quickly attracted attention from friends, local businesses, and fellow Tahoe enthusiasts. Before long, we were building prototypes, partnering with local retailers, and shipping hitch covers to customers who shared the same connection to Tahoe.
More than a decade later, that original idea has grown into a collection of designs inspired by the places people love most. From Lake Tahoe and Nevada to Maine, each hitch cover is created for people who carry a special connection to a place, a lifestyle, or a way of life.
From the beginning, quality has been a priority. Rather than producing inexpensive plastic accessories, I chose to create something built to last. Every hitch cover is precision laser-cut from steel, hand welded, and finished with a durable powder coat. The result is a product designed to look great, withstand the elements, and accompany you wherever the road leads.
Tahoe Hitch Cover is based in North Lake Tahoe and proudly works with manufacturing partners in Nevada. As a long-time Tahoe local, I remain committed to creating products that celebrate the places and communities that inspire them.
Thank you for supporting a small business and for helping share these designs with fellow Tahoe, Nevada, and Maine enthusiasts across the country.
